Abstract

In this audio recording, Dr. Howard M. Ervin gives a rationale for speaking in tongues as the evidence of Baptism in the Holy Spirit.Considers the importance of "tongues" as a pure expression of the Holy Spirit through human language. He also focuses on the gifts of healing and discernment of spirits. This session was recorded July 10, 1975 in Greenleaf, Wisconsin, during a morning session at the First American Baptist Conference.
