Abstract

This lecture by Dr. Howard M. Ervin discusses The way in which Luke uses language to describe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. He compares Jesus' language of 'I will baptize you in the Holy Spirit' with Luke's phrases. Ervin argues that Luke has a distinct theology of the Holy Spirit that is communicated in the book of Acts. This lecture was recorded in the Fall of 2006 and was the last Pneumatology course taught by Dr. Ervin at ORU
