While pastoring the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shawnee, OK, in 1943 Rev. Oral Roberts started a magazine for pastors. The magazine contained tips for pastors, sermon outlines by Roberts, and others. This was Roberts' first magazine he created. However, only one issue was produced. The idea was later revived by G.H. Montgomery when he created The Pentecostal Pulpit in 1947.
