Abstract

“Blockchain is the next generation of the internet,” Mathews said Wednesday in his office overlooking the ORU campus. “If we can do it right, we literally can transform the world.” He said blockchain technology solves the biggest concerns of the digital age: issues of security, trust, theft or alteration of data, and identity theft. Blockchain offers a more secure, more trusted, repository of people’s personal information that can be accessed only by them.
