“Communicating the Pentecostal Message in African Context: Conflicting Experience of Black African Christians”

This article will explore the tension between Black Pentecostals and African culture with the view of establishing a constrictive dialogue between them. African Initiated Churches (AIC) who are close to Pentecostals is a good example. The elite African scholars left a large number of AIC denominations to stand for themselves theologically. Africa's Christian religious identity is important for own Christian projection. It allow for the horizontal and vertical aspects of Pentecostalism to be explored. It offers the understanding that Christian God is actively engaged in His creation. The outcome of this article will account for a refined African Pentecostal Christianity caring for the disadvantaged and encouraging more to come to Christ.
