Description

Edna Jean Green Horn was a Pentecostal child evangelist who started her preaching ministry at the age of 12 years old. By the time she was 18 years old, Edna Jean was holding tent crusades around Michigan and other parts of the US. In 1930, Edna Jean started a radio program called 'The Woman's Radio Pulpit" and later became the only female charter member of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB). She later changed the name to her weekly radio program to "Church by the Side of the Road Broadcast". Edna Jean's radio ministry spanned a remarkable 54 years. This collection contains some of the recordings of that broadcast.
