Description
Does God’s creation of man as male and female continue or in any way express itself in the eschaton, in the new heaven and new earth? Or does this property of Creation give way to embodied, glorified human being that supersedes any and all of the goods of sexual differentiation? This presentation surveys hints from Scripture and from two millennia of Christian theological anthropology to see if we can discern an eschatological telos and status of the creational gift of human sexual differentiation. If so, does “beginning with the end in view” help us fulfill God’s good and gracious purposes for Creation now?
