Abstract
On May 29th, 1969, Oral Roberts was the commencement speaker for the 30th Graduation exercises for Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Roberts family children attended Tulsa Public Schools. The Principal of the school, Dr. Knight, was also a good friend of the family.
Roberts shared with graduates about the importance of relationship. He notes,
"We hear a lot about the generation gap and the gap between races or the gap between lasses, and after dealing with thousand of people face to face and hand to hand and looking at the thing seriously, I believe there is no real communication gap, there is no real generation gap, but there is a very real relationship gap."
Roberts shares with the students about having relationship with God you will have compassion for people and will reach out and desire relationship with people.
