Abstract

This is a recording of the first faculty meeting at Oral Roberts University on Aug 8, 1965. President Oral Roberts introduces all of the University Administration and discusses the organizational structure. The first semester began on September 7th, 1965.

In attendance are the following:

Lee Braxton, Chairman of the Board of Regents

Dr. John Messick, Provost - Academic Dean

Dr. John Tuel - Dean of Student Affairs

Dr. R.O. Corvin, Dean of the Graduate School of Theology

Dr. Tommy Tyson - Director of Spiritual Life

Dr. Carl Hamilton - Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs

Dr. James Spalding - Director of Health Resources
