Abstract

This project addresses the need for Christ centered coaching and demonstrates how Christ centered coaching allows church leaders to lead while improving congregational health. Coaching literature does exist; however, there is very little research which examines coaching through a biblical and Christ centered lens. Most studies emphasize secular coaching models and business frameworks, which leaves a gap in understanding how coaching principles align with the example of Jesus and Christian values. This study is guided by research questions and investigates how Christ centered coaching enhances coaching performance and improves organizational and congregational well-being. The research aims to explore limited coaching skills among church leaders, shows how relevant and beneficial Jesus' coaching model is, and how Christ centered coaching influences church and secular leadership. The project used a qualitative method to analyze biblical sources, scholarly literature, and positive psychology research. The findings show how Christ centered coaching develops self-awareness, spiritual growth, and confidence while enhancing team leadership, vision alignment, and offering practical support for church leaders and leaders in various sectors such as healthcare, education, and law enforcement. The conclusions of Christ centered coaching provide a practical and spiritual model which supports spiritual, personal, and organizational growth.
