Abstract
Creative teams are essential drivers of innovation. However, leaders are rarely taught how to lead creative work. Many leaders face a false dichotomy between creativity and productivity. Existing leadership books seldom adequately address the specific dynamics of creative work, leaving readers without frameworks to fit their unique needs. This book serves as a practitioner guide to address these challenges by providing practical, research-backed strategies. Drawing on leadership and creativity theories, psychological safety research, and published practitioner examples, this book argues that structure does not limit creativity; it empowers it.
