Abstract
Humans and pumpkins have various similarities in their growth processes. One such similarity is apparent during the early stage of the process, when both undergo a germination or hidden phase, during which their potential develops unseen. The same can be said about emerging leaders. As they sprout from the challenging soils of life, it is evident that leadership potential not only flourishes in the later stages but also originates and thrives in the early stages of development. This insight is profound in its implications for how we nurture a leader's development over time. Most research focuses on adult leaders within organizations and professional settings, overlooking the importance of leadership development in the formative years of children. Seeds of Leadership addresses that gap by exploring the striking parallel between the evolution of leadership and the growth cycles of pumpkins and human development. Rooted in the Connectivity Model, the book explores how environment, influence, belonging, and relationships serve as key elements for developing leaders. It presents unique terminology to define Active Leaders and Untitled Leaders. By emphasizing the value of cultivating leadership at every stage of life, the book contributes to a lifelong legacy that can shape organizations, transform lives, and unlock potential. Seeds of Leadership is not only a book for today; it walks in the footsteps of giants from the past to develop leaders for the future.
