Abstract
This book presents a groundbreaking exploration of leadership as a divine calling, offering a distinctive perspective that transcends the traditional “born vs. made” debate. It uniquely bridges the gap between theological insights and contemporary leadership theories, emphasizing that leaders are not merely shaped by circumstances or training but are divinely appointed to fulfill a higher purpose. Drawing from a comprehensive review of servant and transformational leadership models, alongside theological perspectives on calling, this research identifies key themes such as purpose-driven leadership and ethical responsibility. Unlike existing works, which often focus on either secular or religious contexts, this study uniquely integrates both, providing a holistic understanding of leadership as a calling that applies across diverse backgrounds and vocations. By exploring the overlooked aspects of leadership as a calling in non-religious and cross-cultural contexts, this book introduces a fresh perspective to leadership studies. It equips readers to discern, embrace, and walk in their God-given calling, regardless of age, background, or skill set. This work challenges conventional leadership paradigms by highlighting how recognizing and responding to God’s call empowers leaders to make a transformative impact in their spheres of influence, shaping the world with integrity and purpose.
