Abstract
Ethiopia is a nation with a large youth population and a Christian majority. The study examines AI’s potential impact on Ethiopian Churches by 2050. Qualitative secondary sources and foresight tools are utilized. By enriching analysis insights from South Africa and Nigeria a one-day workshop is conducted with pastors, youth ministers, and Christian tech professionals. Key opportunities, trends, and risks are highlighted with findings revealing a lack of policy readiness and theological frameworks. Finally, the research urges Churches to engage with the AI industry to achieve future spiritual and societal impact.
