Abstract
It is well known that technology drives change in organizations and society. However, it is common knowledge that most technological changes and innovations fail. This three-part workshop was designed to share research findings on the relevance of Change Management to the Technology industry for young and mid-level technology professionals via Microsoft Teams. The workshop included exercises designed to enhance engagement and the need to take the theory and practice of Change Management into account for organizational changes and innovations by technology professionals. Part 1 - To bring to the fore the high statistics of failed technology-related changes and innovations, the research reasons for the failure/challenge, and introduce what can be done with the help of Change Management. Part 2 Highlight key change management theories, models and practices, related technology theories, and how organizations utilize change management to roll out products to their customers successfully. Part 3 Highlight some key things leadership can do to lead organizational changes successfully.
